Linnanmäki amusement park organizes Light Carneval annually just when the nights start to get darker earlier and earlier. For the eleventh time, Linnanmäki is light up and you can see some light art and stroll around the grounds enjoy seeing the lights.
The rides are light up as well and I can imagine how fun it is to go on a ride in the dark and see the lights around you whizz by.
The light art was fun to see. The Flowers of Light led light art installation was my favourite.
You can buy some hot chocolate or glögi (a type of Finnnish heated mulled which in this case is non-alcoholic) and sit on the bench admiring the lights.
The Light Carneval ends with fireworks on the 22nd and I can admire the fireworks from my balcony! I can’t wait.
The entrance is free to Linnanmäki during the carnival, but the you need tickets for the rides.
Thank you Linnanmäki for giving us some light!
